Inside spectacular Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, historic brand Prada (established in 1913) has always been synonymous with exclusive design and Milanese excellence.
The store in the Galleria is as glamorous as ever. On its mahogany shelves, commissioned by Mario Prada and designed and made in Great Britain, are all the bags, shoes and clothing of the latest collections as well as a selection of iconic items produced by Prada in the past.
On the mezzanine floor is a branch of the even more historic Pasticceria Marchesi. The evocative rooms have a series of arched windows overlooking the splendid frescoes and mosaic floors of the Galleria. The collaboration between Prada and Marchesi is even more evident in the furnishings, the Verde Alpi marble and the upholstery designed by Miuccia Prada herself.
The upper floor houses the Prada Foundation’s Osservatorio, a space dedicated to exhibitions and art installations, as well as it offers a stunning view over the Galleria and the Milanese skyline.
