We propose an itinerary perfect for music- and design enthusiasts. Our Santa Cecilia tour in Rome: a guided walk at the Ponte della Musica (a music bridge), and a unique behind the scenes tour at the Auditorium designed by Renzo Piano – home to the Santa Cecilia music school. The Ponte della Musica connects the Auditorium, the Villa Glori Park, MAXXI museum, Olympic Theatre (including the Foro Italico), Monte Mario, Museum of Engineers and the RAI auditorium. The bridge is made from reinforced concrete and steel, and is particularly reserved for cyclists, pedestrians and public transport. The Santa Cecilia music school (Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia) is worldwide one of the oldest existing musical institutions. The school has transformed from an organisation for the local musicians to a modern academy and international symphonic concert organisation.
