Apart from mesmerizing modern architecture, Valencia has many historic monuments that are worth visiting such as The Mercat Central or Gastro Market at Mercado del Colòn, North Station (Estacion del Norde), bullring at Plaza de Toros, Cathedral in its gothic-roman style, the Silk Exchange ‘La Lonja de la Seta’.
Just a little outside Valencia, in the suburbs, there are different places of architectural interest to visit such as the The Espai Vert Cooperative by Antonio Cortes, an unusual green complex that houses 300 residents
From the port, after seeing the America’s Cup Pavillion by David Chipperfield, Balcòn al Mar by Josè Maria Tomàs Llavador, Estaciòn Martima, you can reach the beaches at Malvarrosa and enjoy a nice ‘paella’.
